I would like to share the post I made for Copic Australia … it is all about airbrushing with Fluorescent Colors.
So today, we'll get our fingers dirty …
Let's airbrush those Fluorescent colors. Have you tried only using the Fluorescent colors in some of your projects and airbrush it? I use the colors for blending with other regular colors. I will show you that by just using Fluorescent markers I will be able to create my "fantasy" background. I love to airbrush using Fluorescent colors … I get a subtle and subdued effect on my projects.
Here, I will use a silhouette image and create an airbrushed background using only Fluorescent colors. Whenever I airbrush backgrounds, I always have a story in order for me to organize my markers … and that is totally fun and interesting.
This is the sequence of my markers to use.
Then I stamped the Hero Arts image Dancing with Flowers (CG266) onto the Blending E-xpress It using the Tsukineko Memento Black Tuxedo.
I finish it up with gray colors W00 and N0 and now I have created an enchanting and fantasy background for the kids in the meadows.
Final Touches …
Note from Jing's messy table: Left Photo - I used Atyou Spica (Baby Blue) for the flowers ... I just love contrast. Then a spritz of Glimmer Mist Copper gave more vibrancy on the image. Right Photo - I did not use Glimmer Mist here and just had a subtle effect.
It is not very clear on the photo but the original cards are just stunning … try it and I am sure you will enjoy airbrushing fluorescent colors. So get your airbrushing system ready ... have fun!
