Copic Markers + Glossy Paper = Abstract Design
Copic Ink on Glossy papers is one of the applications that can be explored and use it as backgrounds either for a scrapbook layout, cards or tags. Of course, a Copic Activator is required - the ink will dry fast when it is exposed. So once it is sprayed unto the colors and the glossy paper is applied, it will create an abstract design. Yes, it will definitely be an abstract and the pattern will depend on how much pressure and Activator is being applied.
I will have 3 sets of combinations of Copic Markers: Y28,Y35,Y38/YG23,YG25,YG95,YG97/YR23,YR24,YR61,YR65
Then, I will doodle the colors in the heat mat (Ranger Non-stick Craft Mat or equivalent), used the Copic Activator and then press down immediately the Glossy paper.

Backgrounds can be created in so many ways using Copic Inks. And the glossy paper application is one of the techniques. It is quite fun to create it since the result cannot be easily determined until the glossy paper is pressed down. Try it!
I will use the glossy papers as my background for my layout.

I used the stamp image Dandelion Girl from Wee Stamps. I adore the Wee Stamps images. And this is a great image for showing on how to create a deeper shadows on the pleats.
