good morning, Sunday … just an easy, lazy day …

and as always, I have a crafty inspiration for everybody …

I made a menu card … something versatile and colourful …

perfect for a lunch or dinner occasion …

so let's –

I love to decorate my dining table whenever I host a party …

and I always personalize the menu cards –

and this weekend I made a simple menu and name card –

 

 

* I used the Ranger Tag Card

* I did background galore using distress inks, embossing powder and stamps

* then finally, decorated it with Flowers, Ribbons and sentiments

 

* Printed the Menu using the Fedrigoni Paper

 

Our guests will always have a small token to bring home …

well, I always enjoy doing it and sometimes it is a challenge …

and that is why, whenever I have something that inspires me …

I create the prototype and keep it for the next get together.

What's the recipe of my little tag of inspiration ?

 

[tag from Tattered angel… I used candle to make a resist on the background]

[embellishments… I added leaves, prima flowers, resin bench, butterflies]

 

[coloured Watercan Marci with copic markers and created a 3D in some parts of the image]

[simple colouring technique and blending ... easy, fun and just enjoying the start of the week] 

 

[sentiments… and the new diecut – Butterflies]

 The card is very simple yet elegant …

I just added brown corners to create a contrast on the background

* I used Tattered Angel's Glimmer Chips

* waxed few of the details to create resist effect

* spritzed with Adirondack Color Wash Sunset Orange and

Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist Bahama Blue

* made a paste using 3D Powder and Gesso

* applied it to the surface with a lace as a pattern

DRYING TIME

* dIstress distress

* then attached all the embellishments

* showered the Heart Chair with flocking powder then pearls

My Monday Inspiration

Yes … 

I got inspired on the Vintage Chic stamps from Stampavie …

totally gorgeous and a MUST HAVE …

Antoinette and Marguerite … strolling … with their dogs …

and that's how I got the title of this post…

 

I coloured the images with copic markers …

quite a challenge since the details are quite intricate …

I was not so happy with the photo outcome …

of course, the original project looks beautiful.

(my personal opinion based on my style)

 

I will not have a step by step on how I made the card.

It is quite simple.

But I want to inspire you about the project and think beyond it.
