totally bursting with several colours

brownish, orangey, pinkish etc etc …

I just love the breeze – crispy and fresh…

I guess, it is much easier to create

for iNspiring tUesday, I used the beautiful

printable banners from Rhonna Designs.

I truly enjoyed preparing the sample

decors which I used for dinners and lunches

last month

{pssst ... I will be using the same styled banner for

next week's dinner but I will add

a touch of the Autumn designs - check check later}

… and I also did some mix 'n match …

so versatile and really fun when

I was doing the set-up.

once done printing either using the Canvas paper

or regular patterned paper,

I covered it with Textile Strengthener.  

I love using it especially if

I want to change the form...

 

 

 this is one of my fave ...

just wave your banner in style ...

gLam it with few pearl pins and white tulle.

I also attached the name of my guest,

then I have the menu card on a separate

decorated card.

 

 

so there we go ... something really to 

bAnner UP and gLam it Up for

dinners and lunches ...

I always love to have any interesting

stuff in the table whenever

I entertain ...

I got to learn a lot of things,

discovered more about myself,

that – as the saying goes …

everyday is a winding road … and that

life is full of surprises.

Anyhow, above all, I am grateful and

thankful

 

I am truly a happy trooper – yay!

here's the final series of inspirations

it is quite easy and fun in creating

this album …

[front] pages were decorated with flowers

and space for journals or sentiments

 

 

[created] 3D flowers and used the Summer Breeze Collectables

[cut] out few flowers from the patterned papers

 

[back] pages were just plain patterned papers;

for photos or souvenirs can also be added

 

Once all are tucked in, just add ribbons or blings …

anything that fancy your taste -

And the album is ready for you

to create amazing memories

of your summer 2013.

summer is always fun -

well, I love summer and this time, I had 

a fantastic yet an interesting summer adventure.

as always, I have my 12x12 "fun" boxes decorated -

and all the souvenirs kept inside ...

I used my favorite paper collection from

I created a 3D flower garden by cutting

the flowers individually and layered it. 

oh ... totally fun! fun! fun!

and I enjoyed making the individual flowers …

quite tedious though yet therapeutic …

and I just love the details and effects once done ...

so this time, I decided not to put any photos …

it was FRiday morning then …

quiet, and our "weekend" in this part of the world.

it was just a lazy weekend indeed and

definitely, i am or rather WE are super loving it.

then started asking myself …

what *is* life?

tough or easy question …

well, it depends on how you see things, right?

I have my thoughts about it …

but one thing important –

I am *grateful*

and

happy!

Style It and {Let’s Have Dinner}

 

I always love to cReate extraordinaire

table decors … then match it with amazing, or

simple, or even extravagant

tokens/mini gifts for our guests…

just something to remember by.

Yes, I love to spoil our guests –

and I totally enjoy searching for items

for the next dinner.

And one thing I love to do is creating a

DIY Menu Namecard.

{somethin' to keep as a souvenir}

For the {three} upcoming Champagne Dinners,

I made, of course,{three} sTyles of the Menu Namecard.

So here's the mis-en-place:

is in your souvenir menucard.

Then a ribbon or anything extras can be added

  I have printed the KISS Collection in a

Canson Photo paper ...

then add flowers and pins + the guestname

another option for the menucard is to place 

 it flat on the plate then the

bottle of champagne just beside the wine glasses

here, I have separated the namecard and menu.

at the back of the namecard, is an option 

where to put a group photo or any personal

photos during the dinner

everything is all set ... just need to

check on the table napkins.

Project: Summer Box Top Décor

{create} the background

{cover} the white 12x12 cardstock with gesso

[edge} it with the combo of

Studio Dab of Yellow & To Do Malaysia Blue

{use} the mini Chicken Wire/Reverse and

{dab} the Studio Dab of Yellow

{mix} 3D powder and white gesso + combo Yellow & Malaysia Blue

{apply} it with the Mini Chicken Wire

{cut} the flowers and create 3D

 

 

 

a photo can also be added or

name or

mini card
