The Stampavie Creations Magazine July Edition went Live last night. Truly loads of wonderful, amazing, delicious and edible projects from the Design Team members that will surely inspire all of us …
I have made something beyond patterned papers and adhesives … I have a delicious Opera Cake decorated with Sarah Kay's collection and coordinated with Webster's Pages Ladies & Gents Collection.
I added marzipan roses, leaves and vines then covered the sides of the cake with yummy chocolate icing. I used the icing scraper afterwards to level it and also to have more dimensions on it.
The other version of the cake, I just decorated the top with the stamped image and covered the edges with chocolate beads using the icing tips.
After making the project, I had to make similar designs of the cakes for a hotel lobby café … amazingly, sold right away! So let's have that ...

Chanson d'amour …with
Another beautiful image from Penny Johnson's collection … I made the card using the wooden frame and "Madeline" collection from Prima. I painted the frame with gesso, and acrylic paint, misted with Antiquing solution and cracked it with crackled paint … a lot of waiting time to dry.
I colored the birds with Copic markers and applied Perfect Pearl … it gives more dimension and soft effect on the image. I then cut it and adhere it to the original stamped image.
Note from Jing's messy desk: Anyway, I just love the variety of stamp collections with Stampavie and how we were having fun of creating something freely to give you all inspirations. Check out the latest Stampavie Creations Magazine and get inspired with my fellow DT members.
