This was the original version of the layout which I have posted at the Stampavie blog. Check the previous post on More ... Scrapbooking with Ease class where I used a photo and word sentiments to accent the wooden frame. Here, I used the Stampavie stamps' "Josephine cuddling her pet Kiki" and "La Chaise". I created a 3D effect on the images and printed 2 photos for the wall – just imagine Josephine and Kiki inside the house.
I colored Josephine and Kiki with Copic markers, covered her pullover with Martha Stewart's flocking powder and buckled her up with a tulle fabric and accented with Swarovski bling. I carefully cut the image and used Faber-Castell Tack-it.
I stamped the La Chaise image to the Manila cardstock, cut it and applied Martha Stewart's flocking powder – I just love the flocking powder effect. Then I assembled all the elements in the wooden frame.
Just perfect … I can actually use the wooden frame area for another project – maybe as a card.
Next time again soon …
