So what's kickin' up for the past few days at Stampavie? Of course, there were 40 newly released stamps for the Autumn-Winter 2011 Collection. All of us were excited when we received our Stampavie box … absolutely great variety of stamp designs. Plus another surprise box of goodies … excited but I cannot reveal what was in the box yet … soon. So let me introduce Little Belinda designed by amazing Penny Johnson …

Belinda and the Cardinal PEN060

I used the 12x12 Life's Portrait "Reflection" collection from Webster's Pages. I created several frames within frames … cut a 5x6.5 frame size and placed a chipboard at the back to have a 3D effect … and for a vintage look, I painted crackle paint at the edges then brushed a little of the gesso … then I have another frame using Dusty Attic chipboard Ornate Frame. Here, I applied gesso to the chipboard, painted it with acrylic and Distress Crackled Paint. Finally for the inside frame, I want to have an emboss effect so I painted it with Distress Crackle Pewter Paint. All done … then I attached the photo of Marga and Marian.

I have added Little Belinda to accent the Ornate Frame, plus few crystal blossoms, ribbon and push pins. This time, Little Belinda has been colored with Promarkers and finished it up with Faber-Castell Aquarelle pencils.
