not the usual but unusual … yes, you got it - a mini book …

something special and personal.

I have made 3 mini books … {1-8}, {9-16}, and {17-25}

each day is something inspiring …

either a photo, sayings or quotes, wish … just anything.

Of course, no peeking in advance … just one page a day –

then close the book and smile!

 another mega yes … just my random thoughts …

I created the layout thinking that

I will use it as an album cover … well, maybe or have it

simply as wall décor … use any fave shabbyish-look or simples frames …

 I cut all the flower details because I want to

create a dimensional effect with my flowers

then just add sticker elements, journal card.

a bit application with simple mixed media(ish) effects

 

{Remember This} Journal Album

yes, i decided not put any photos … just my random thoughts …

i brought along with me the Journaling cards while on vacation

so whatever I was thinking while sipping my piña colada,

I just randomly write it down

And I loved it

  [get messy]

I created the background with gesso, sponged it with acrylic paints,

distressed the edges and use a decoupageish technique 

 rant! rant! noise! overloaded with ideas ...

blah! blah! got it write it down ...

thoughts are flippin' with awesome ideas.

 

... the process was overwhelming,

after all the hustle and bustle at "work"

it was amazingly ...

and I am truly ...

Dream It, Do It

… it was just my vacation mantra.

Body.

Soul.

Spark.

… words that I found while in my blissful retreat.

Of course, the vacation mood will not just slowly disappear … it will linger for a couple of days until reality hit its fence. So I was in that mood … though, I was not pushing the button of "back to work" otherwise, I will have to recharge once again. Here is a simple layout I made for the Twisted Sketches … I love the Twist this week – Green.  ahhhhhhhhh FRESH ...
