Oh yes, believe it or not …
it is Christmas Delivery time – loads of goodies on its way.
Time flies and we will soon be singing
Jingle Bells …
Jingle Bells …
Jingle All the way
I have created a project using the shadow box from Accucut and colored the stamp image from Laurence Collection. I love to start coloring using the lightest color as my base and blend it with the next midtone color. Red is a challenging color to use so I had added a dash of the Poppy (R565) then blend it with Antique Pink (R346). So I just blend … blend … blend … until I got the right color. I always like to add grey colors for the shadows and it also gives a bit of a shabby chic look. I used the Ultra-fine Nib attachment for the small details such the fur and edges on the car. It is easy to use … just attach the Nib … click and voila! Then it is paper piecing time … FUN!
My shadow box card is ready for my upcoming Christmas dinners … I will just have to add the name of my guest, menu and season greetings!
