Guess what? My first post for Stampavie went "LIVE" Monday morning. I was so excited and can't wait to share the new 2011 Vintage Collection by Penny Johnson. For this post, I worked on the Shabby Chic Frame stamp – you must have this!
I will have to use a 12x12 paper for this layout and will add the Shabby Chic Frame to it. I love to use stamp images to my layouts as additional embellishments … I would patiently cut them and do something about it. So here we go with the nitty gritty …
I stamped the image onto the X-Press It paper using the StazOn Jet Black Ink. In order to create a 3-D for my photos, I removed the center, cut the inner side then fold it. Here comes the fun part, I painted the frame with Ranger Crackle Paint Picket Fence … I let it dry a little bit then I used the heat set to dry it more until I see that amazing crack effect.
Here's one of the frames where I used the Ranger Distress Inks Tea Dye and Vintage Photo inks.
I used the Webster's Pages new collection Country Estate patterned paper plus the Dusty Attic Chandelier chipboard to add some dramatic effect on my "Wall" of Real Beauty. I dressed up the Chandelier Chipboard with lots of painting, spritzing, misting to get that vintage look. Then I let it dry and for the finale … I added few Swarovski crystals. Et voila!
