It started in January … finalized in February … then in March - signed, sealed and delivered. It is great to be part of the Paper Lane Scrapbookstore and I am looking forward to working together with the other remarkable creative ladies. Each and every one of us has its specialty and it is quite interesting for me to also learn from them. The Team will surely inspire you with loads of fun and creative stuff. January was just full of action … advance submission of layouts for the Twisted Sketches, Copic card samples for Copic classes, making appointments with clients for the Crafts & Hobby Association (CHA) Show in Los Angeles, social activities and many more. Oh yes and the highlights of them all … the CHA Show – I always look forward in attending the show. It is always fun and interesting to see new products or new companies being launched …quite a drooling and yummy experience. I enjoyed seeing friends again from the industry and meeting new ones from all over the world. So my first agenda for the week was the COPIC intermediate Workshop – taught both by Sherrie Siemens and Debbie Olson. I truly enjoyed the class – quite interesting and informative. Then came the other workshops that I attended sponsored by several companies e.g. My Tattered Angels, Hero Arts, My Yellow Bicyle, etc. Overall, it was fun and loads of techniques shared. It was a lot of walking and taking photos here and there. Yes, about the photos … my first digital card was nowhere to be found – all photos for the last 2 ½ days were all in that card. Tears but no tears came out … I was just mad. Nevertheless, I had my second digital card which I had some photos of people in action but all sample photos ... just gone with the wind. Anyway, it was great to be there and I am looking forward to my round 3 next year, 2012 in Anaheim, California.
In late December 2010, I was clearing my project schedule for retail stores which I had been doing for the last three years – an awesome experience and despite the tight schedules, I was able to create a few new pages, sample cards and altered crafts. But 2011 will have a little bit of a twist… and a huge turn around … so what will be happening?
Firstly: it is official – starting from February onwards I will be inspiring fellow crafters through sketches from Twisted Sketches! The newly assembled Design Team will endeavor to inspire the followers with their sketch interpretations. Congratulations are in order to the members of this truly international design team:

My name is Anam Stubbington and I adore scrapbooking! I've been scrapbooking for over 7 years now and love every minute of it. I've been creating sketches for nearly as long -I've made them for classes, crops and events, and for the design teams i've worked with over the years.
