I had fun creating the card despite all the details.

I was inspired on the image … I am always fascinated with fairies, dwarves, gnomes and its stories.

Well, as a child I loved to read and listen to fairy stories …

I am always mesmerized with fairytales.

I coloured several images and cut them individually ... then put them together - parts where I want to have the 3D effect.

Yes, kinda tedious the process but it was fun!

I cut the word WISH using the Accucut Vintage letters.

next? I applied {gesso}.{aryclic paint}.{crackling primer}.{crackling paste}.{acrylic paint}

voila!

The card is just my prototype project for an upcoming

ladies afternoon tea gathering.

I have already decorated the front

and just working on the backside …

{ready ... get set ... go}

I prepared the background … that is something clean and simple.

A rough draft on the layout …

then … work starts!

I coloured 2 sets of the Bookstack …

created 3D effect only on 1 set …

just used chipboards at the back for support.

 

 

I also coloured several apples and placed them around the books…

Whoops! I love the little munchkins and I also fancy the color combinations.

And the red Frame … I embossed the background using white embossing powder –

just to give contrast from the whole design.

And my favorite ... the Antique Gold Wax Paste - just all over the books.

 

And yes … it is a

Happy Day!

I used Ranger Crackle Paint Picket Fence to get that crackling effect ... dab a bit of the distress ink
